Nations Direct

Got a call Friday at 3:50pm for a 3:30 signing in a town approx. 30 min away...RUSH RUSH. Small Package...needs to be overnighted tonight. OH did I forget to mention the doc's were not ready yet!....

After I stopped laughing and my co-work neighbor also repeated the joke..I declined because this wonderful job they offered me paid a WHOPPING $25.00. I may admit to taking almost anything over $60 (NO PRINTING AND WITHIN 15 min driving) but I am NOT that desperate I wish that they would just remove me...I keep tellling them NO and my basic fee is THIS but they just keep calling and always from a different telephone number

Everything with them is always last-minute, "can you help us out", VERY low fee, and they misrepresent their e-doc packages. "It's a small package" turns into 140 pages with 10-12 notarizations and at least 30 page fax-back. IMO, that's not a small package. They have been calling me for about two weeks for the same signing they can't find anyone to do. Sorry, can't drive 3.5 hours for $60. Another one this last weekend for 120 miles R/T @ $60. Not a chance.
They'll also call about 3 times to ask that you lower your fee, always from a different number, as previously mentioned.

correct and it was already 20 min past the signing time and no docs. They lowball no matter what but 11 years ago when I first started in this business they paid with the check in an overnight package sent to me. Those days seem to be long gone.

I also have the same problem with Nation Direct. I wish they would stop taking up my time with their low ball last min. 50 miles away for $60. I have also been doing this for 11 years. I think the next time they call me I will tell them to take me out of their data base and not to ever call me again. I am not going to waste my my cell phone minutes on them.

Instead of just wishing they would not call, I have told them I am never going to take a signing from them, so please remove me from their list.
