Printers

I am in the market for a new laserjet printer. I have had a HP p2015dn which has been a great printer for the last 5+ years but it's time to move on it takes too long to print loan docs.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Lisa

I have owned a brother HL 2040 since 2007. upgraded to the HL 2240 DW and use both of them still. Also have a brother MFC 6710DW. Im a fan of brother printers.

Curious about your p2015

I own several P2015s and I LOVE them, they're fast and cheap. I had an issue with mine slowing down, and it turned out there was a funny thing with the latest driver--it doesn't work right if you're on a 64 bit windows machine. The company that I buy my printer cartridges called their tech support guy for me who worked it out, and now the thing is SHOCKINGLY fast.

I pick up these machines on E-bay, used computer stores, and businesses that are going out, and I've got one connected to the computer, one or two in storage, and often one loaned to the church or a friend. I love them, especially because they're so old and cheap to fix.

If you'd like to try the driver fix, send me a message, and I'll find the instructions the tech guy sent me. It was a very round-robins barn way to go about fixing it but it worked GREAT.

Jessica
