Just dodged a bullet. Received an email from Global Notary, out of Tustin, Ca. In my zip, but just $60. Signing Central showed 3 stars with most recent comments being negative. Hope no one I know here takes it.

I won't be taking it, whether it's in my area or not. Done a number of closings for them and don't want to do any more. They are very time consuming to do, with 150+ pages to sign and notarize and 50+pages to faxback before you send them in. Time spent doing one of their closings could be better spent doing a closing or two for someone who pays you a higher fee.
