This hasn't happened since about 2007!

Have to go to a wedding 7 hour drive away this Saturday. Need to leave Friday morning. I have already had to turn down 5 jobs for Friday, and 1 for Saturday! Majority are from good paying companies too! I hope the other Humboldt County Notaries are happy!

I used to live in Humbolt county, but now in Tehama county. I live in Red Bluff, CA. 30 miles south of Redding.

Please excuse my last posting in this thread, my computer started typing backwards so if you read it backwards you can make out what I was trying to say.

First time ever for me to have my computer type backwards. I rebooted and it's working fine now.

Hey Buddy, It's Humboldt, not Humbolt.

Are you sure you used to live here?

I think some of them may be having problems finding anyone because I have had 3 calls today for your area, but they don't want to pay my fee.

Isn't that the truth!!!

Seems like every single time I go out of town, I end up turning down calls -- actually referring them to my buddies. Never fails.

And, that's right! It is almost EOM. Gonna make it a point to stay close by and available. This month has been kinda scarce.

This has been different.

I have been going out of town quite a bit, even at EOM, and I have only had to turn down a few, especially for the last 2 years, so this was unexpected. I guess the pool of good NSA's has shrunk a lot around here. I have been a bit busier... Glad I'm sticking around next month!

Oh, the sacrifices we make for family and friends - but

would you have it any other way?

Here's to a long, happy life together for the bride and groom!

Re: Oh, the sacrifices we make for family and friends - but

Susan, I had to turn down two today because I had to go to the fish market and then prepare dinner later on tonight because my wife and daughter have to attend "back to school night". They both teach at the same school. Me and me son can't eat hamburgers because we HAVE to eat fish which by the way I will not be cooking in "fish" oil. LOL

I had to turn one down today because I had to wash my green boxer shorts, the ones with the pick pokadots. lol
