Current comments on SC seem to be very good.
I've never worked with them, but I am surprised with all the good comments that you are having difficulties receiving payment.

Timios is one of the more responsible members of our industry -- fair fees, no excessive demands, timely payments. If you are having difficulties getting paid, I would suggest you take a close look at what's going on at your end -- invoice in, W9 provided, etc.

It seems they are expanding? (CA and TX) That may be the source of your problem.
I worked for them last month, they paid my fee, no problems, I’d do it again.

They are awesome to work with. Never had a problem with payment. Perhaps there may be an error on your end. Always professional and pay fair fees.

They are behind on payment

I sent an email today to Timios following up on payment for 3 closings. 2 in August and 1 in June. I didn't realize I had one outstanding that far back so this is the first request I've made for payment, not that I should have to ask to be paid. Regardless, I have 1 90 day, 1 45 day and 1 30 day late.

$80 for edocs?

Their contract states their preferred notaries receive $80 for edocs. Preferred attorney pricing is $200 for edocs.

If you do't want to accept the lower fee they'll call you to discuss it further and tell you how you'll make so much more money due to "volume."

They still call me when they are ready to accept my fee.

I won't work for $80, although they asked me to.
