Unusual calender?? Based on the number of offered signings

from good companies , that I had to decline yesterday, I assume that some lendrers
believe that September normally has 43 days, and were surprised when they belatedly learned that it only had 30 days this year.
Hate turning down good work, but I can only do so much.
Hope everybody had a good EOM. Mine was great.
I wonder why they can not pick a random cutoff day , other than month end.
It must be difficult for them also. The title companies , processors and NSAs are all swamped at the same time.

I turned down a bunch too - I was already booked with established clients who regularly plan and book in advance and actually produce documents in a timely manner, even at EOM. Must have turned down at least 5 yesterday.

I turned down a lot too. Everyone wanted the same slots.

Some jobs even fell through at the last minute, and then they were filled right away. My last job started at 10:00 last night. All my borrowers were experienced and signed quickly. If you are a newbie out there, I hope you had your names in the databases.

Wedding was wonderful, but...

I had 10 calls for Friday and Saturday that I had to turn down. Can't even remember when I had that many calls for jobs in one day. Granted if I was home I would not have been able to do them all, but I would have made quite a bit of money. Naturally, yesterday when I was home, I got one call, and it ended up being cancelled! Right now I have one job today, but that's it.

Re: Wedding was wonderful, but...

I did 4 yesterday. 9am, 10:30 am about 5 miles apart. 4:30, 6:30 both in my small hometown 2 miles apart. Wonderful day. I could have taken another one but I turned it down. I just didn't want to go that far late at night. Not really a good area. I have also found that the later they call, the more of a hassle it is. They didn't have docs yet but.... they're working on them. Just had a gut feeling it would be a nightmare.

Busy day for me too. I was totally booked the whole day and evening but was still getting calls at 5:30 and 6:00 wanting to know if I could do signings with "open times'. Of course they had no docs yet. That's just a nightmare waiting to happen. I was more than happy to turn them down!

Like Jin, on Fri had to turn down about 10...

and like someone else said, everyone wanted to sign the same time on the same day. It was crazy.
