  What do you do ?
A company asks you to put your notary stamp on a document as proof of your commission. Do you? or do you Not? & if you do not, why ?
  Thank you. Walt

They usually ask for a copy of your commission from your state also. To me, that's proof enough of my commission. I don't see a reason for the stamp. I've never sent it.

In my state, its illegal to use my stamp for anything other
  than an official Notarial act.
I put my commission # and expiration date - never had a problem.

I don't know the law in New Jersey, but in the State of California that would be an illegal act.
  I will no do it.
