closing group

Any problems being paid from The closing group? I did a closing on 8/2/11 and still havent been paid. I called them and they told me the lender hasnt paid them. I will wait one more week, then I am calling the lender and asking them for my money.

I hope you do get paid. It's always unfortunate when we (NSA's) get duped into completing assignments for companies that want the job completed on time but take their time paying us, if we even get paid at all. Still, I would contact your hiring party to let them know of your intentions to contact the lender. I only mention this because, if the signing service that hired you loses their account with said lender because of your call to said lender, the signing service might pursue legal action. I would be very careful with this. Good luck. As an aside, did you check the SS ratings here, before accepting said assignment?

As for me, I had to pry my money out of their hands back in 2008. They seemed to try and get their act together after that, and got some positive reviews in SC. But I don't give second chances in this business, so I have not worked for them again even though they have called me numerous times. They ignored my calls and emails inquiring about payment. I finally got paid after calling the title company and asking for assistance. I emailed the title company, thanking them for looking in to the matter, and I copied The Closing Group on the email. Got paid right after that, at 78 days.
