printing

I have a brother 5370 dwt and I am working off a dell computer and I notice lately that the documents seem to not be printing right. It looks like some pages print out on legal that look like they should be on letter and the pages that print out on legal look like it is not finishing printing the document on the page. I called brother and they walked me through set up and my drawers are set right for letter and legal. They say it could be how they are sending the documents to me. I do have adobe x on this computer i wonder if thats the problem. I have wasted so much paper. I never had that problem using my hp laptop. I have been doing this job a while and i have never had to worry if the pages were printing out right. Now I have to check documents to make sure they are printing right. So frustrating any one else having this problem.

I have a brother printer and had some problems too. If its not your set up and you are checking your package before you print and it looks normal then it could be adobe. I had trouble printing after I updated adobe. I ended up having to delete the new version and go back to an older version. I am not computer savy at all but that fixed my problem. If you updated and then started having these problems that could be it. Hope this helps.

It may not be your equipment at all. I've had a similar problem (and again yesterday) with tc docs that get scanned to a non-standard size (something like 8.5" x 14.33") that my HP printer doesn't recognize. I tried it on a different printer that doesn't have dual trays and that didn't work, either.

What I finally figured out is this: I un-clicked the box that says to "choose paper source by PDF page size", set page scaling to "shrink to printable area", and then went into properties and set page size to legal. That worked fine. The only problem was not remembering to set it back to the way it was, and I ended up printing the next set of documents on all legal paper. (What a waste! I made that the borrower's copy...)

Hope this helps! (BTW, I seem to run into that same problem with the same pages - usually the HUD - from (s) certain title company(ies).)
