Company contacting notaries offering supplemental work
Got an email offering me for a new revenue opportunity. Went to their site to check them out. Was given pause with the following information they provide for their clients:
"Our national network of independent Visual Information Specialists are trained, tested, and certified We train, test, and certify our specialists before they do their first assignment. They can use their own 5MP+ digital camera or our easily accessible iPhone or Android apps to capture photos and any other information from the scene that you need. Specialists are dressed professionally in a solid-colored collared shirt with khaki pants or other business attire. Each specialist arrives wearing an OnSource identification badge and driving a passenger car or light-duty passenger truck. "
Looks like they want employees at contractor classification. I have not seen anything about the fees they would offer, but am unwilling to be a representative expected to wear a "uniform" (solid-colored collared shirt with Khaki pants) without the benefit of an employment contract and the attendant liability coverage.
Has anyone else checked further?

Sounds like field inspection work. You take pictures,
visually inspect property, etc. You can check it out, but most of these companies don't pay enough to make it worthwhile.

I got as far as you did, and then said never mind. Would love to hear from someone who actually is working for them.

I got a solicitation of that nature. I requested more information but havent received any yet.
However, I do work with some companies on Field work. I only work with ones that pay $30+. I add that in addition to the background investigations I do. Cant hurt though....
