Confirm issues with National Vendor Solutions?
Anyone have them? Called yesterday 9am for 3pm deal today, said they would send confirm in a hour. Noon time I call since confirm was not sent yet, we will get it out soon. Now 4pm still nothing and I call again, need it by 6pm or I will book the time slot. 10am this morning they call and say it's canceled we will email the notice, well that must be with the confirm email..lol
I booked the slot anyway since I had no written confirm from them all day, then @ 4pm they call and ask if I can go to this signing asap.. sorry booked.
Company has good write up's but is this how they do business?

I believe they send over the confirmation when they get a hold of the borrower. The specifically state in the confirmation that they have already confirmed the appointment with the borrower and you are not to contact the borrower.

With me they've always sent the confirmation
immediately with instructions not to call the borrower. I then call lender and work it out with them - they've always allowed me to call borrower before I go providing I just wait until they've reviewed the HUD with them. They call me and let me know it's okay to call B.
I have had the "late doc/no doc" issue with them too - but I can't honestly say that's how they always operate - I've had smooth as silk deals with them too - I've also had many other companies getting docs to me late...

Re: With me they've always sent the confirmation
For years I've had the same immediate confirmation response from NVS as well. It seems that sometime last year they started taking longer to send them out (outside of the email issue I mentioned in the post below).
Overall, I don't recall any real issues with late docs from them on my end.

I had the same issue with them, NVS, and one other company late last year. After calling them I found that they had been sending the confirmations to an incorrect email (off by one letter). It happened a few times more but then I spoke with a manager and asked that he confirm my email address while I was on the phone. In one part of their system it was correct in another part it was incorrect. He resolved the situation immediately and I have not had any issues with receiving confirmations from either of the companies since.
I do not actually "book" the time until I have a confirmation as well. I will usually give the company an hour or so to send the confirmation and if not received by then I will open the time slot and call them. Usually after telling them that the time is no longer reserved for them speeds up the confirmation process on their end.
In the past I used to have one specific company, not NVS, "book" the appointment with me so that they could tell their customer it was booked while they continued to search around for a NSA that would accept the job for $75-$90. Of course, when they could find one to accept the lower fee they sent me a cancellation notice if they had bothered to even send a confirmation. After the 2nd time that happened with this other company, I called the BRW's & confirmed that it had not actually been canceled at all. I began accepting their orders only with a cancellation charge as well as a time limit on receiving the order confirmation. Eventually they stopped using me as a place holder and a backup NSA for their orders.

Same issues, very late confirmation after I accepted, could not call buyer, and after 1/2 way there and with packages for both, they cancelled. Never rescheduled. Still waiting on the print and trip fee. I really do not like the way they operate, and I like to control my own closings, not have them do everything before I get there. I really do not feel they trust their notaries or are over controlling.

I won't go to a closing if I can't speak with the borrowers
first...I'm too rural up here to even remotely consider venturing out without confirmation - and very specific directions. People up here with shoot you and ask questions later - no thank you..I must speak with borrower
As I said - I've always been allowed to speak with lender and clear it through lender and been allowed to contact borrower when they had all their "stuff" together...

Let me clarify this - I won't go - UNLESS I have a
written guarantee of payment IN FULL no matter what.

There are to be NO calls made to the borrower(s) in advance. The Closing Date and Time have already been confirmed with the borrower(s) by Mortgage Investors, Corp. The borrower(s) are expecting you to arrive at the closing at the scheduled time. Please map out the Borrowers address in advance to allow sufficient time for travel. If you are unable to locate the address for the closing, or if you have any questions regarding the closing please call National Vendor Solutions immediately for further instructions. This is at the end of their emails, also have not been paid on a closing that was complete early April.

NVS.. Very slow with confirmations. I thought they were
not sending one for a signing I did. I got is about five hours later. Truthfully, if I had gotten another call I would have felt free to take it. But I didn't in this case. I got paid in two weeks.

Re: NVS.. Very slow with confirmations. I thought they were
I was called to do a closing at 8am and it was less than a mile from my home office. DO NOT CALL BORROWER were the main instructions, and the pay was not bad. OK get doc's 185 pages 2 sets. Get to the borrowers on time, have to knock 4 times finally someone comes to the door and wants to know who I am. I yell to her threw the door and she yells back "I'm not signing anything", I try to explain and she opens the door, etc.etc. Ended up closing was canceled and she didn't even set the time and date with them and had never seen the any paperwork. After calling their support line I was able to leave the home, and agreed to half payment for trip/cancelation. It took over 1 month to get paid, and the owner even hung up on me when I called to find out when I was going to get paid. So I will never work for this company again, fool me once, but fool me twice, I won't go.

Wow. F2F/FL just saw this
This is a bad experience certainly. I would never work for them and certainly hope this is on SC. Not good. I do not like not being able to contact borrowers. I had experience with another company and agree I will not take a signing in future whee I cannot call borrower before I leave my home.
