How is DirectClosers.com any different from a signing service (middleman)? The get the work from title directly and give it to you? At least that is how I am interpreting what you wrote. Maybe they give it to you for free? Meaning you get to deal with and bill title directly the fees you charge with no cut going to DirectClosers.com. Otherwise, sounds like they are just another "pay" director that takes your money, with no real results. Only a few pay directories out there worth anything at all.

I registered with them for free. I have one title company who uses them, and I love them. They pay within 2 weeks, directly from the title company, not from Direct Closers. It seems Direct Closers is a data base for Title Companys to omit the need on their end for a SS. They go to the website and find the notary, and book us directly off of there. If you have quesions, you call the title company. As far as the 8 hour course, then pay to be certified, and then again pay to be placed on top of their preferred list is a bit sketchy. It is not open to the notaries to view as yet, so we have no ideas of how many title companies or notaries are in your area to check out. They say May 1st, they are working to change that. Waiting to see what develops before I put any money into them, but the one company who uses them has been great! Just do not see the need to pay for an 8 hour course when we all took out certification already. I think they are out to make some money with all the upgrades.
