Dunn & Bradstreet

I have been solicited by D&B to sign up with them even though I am a one woman show. They show on record that there have been two inquiries about my small business. Are any of you members? Whats your opinion. Many thanks.

In my opinion… a total rip-off! You sign up and pay….. Then others are supplied with inaccurate or no information about you, your business, or your banking or credit information. Certainly NOT for a small business, and especially a small business they know nothing about. A JOKE that isn’t very funny AFTER you have paid good money for nothing.

I concur with Les. I was approached years ago, when I owned a real estate company with dozens of Realtors. Did not see any benefit to it then, and did not join. To this day, I've not become aware of any reason a small company (not trying to make the big international rankings) or an independent contractor would pay and join. I suggest you let D&B explain and show you exactly how you would benefit from joining. Explain how small your operation is, and I'll just betcha they won't spend much time and effort trying to lure you.
