I turned down a signing from a very good client because I had accepted another signing at the same time. Guess what?
We need some way to charge a cancel fee when it is last minute. Especially when another signing was lost. This is no way to run a business!!!

There is nothing to suggest whether the "very good client" job didn't cancel as well. You just will never know.

If you have nothing else on the books, take it and when you call to confirm make something up and get then to consider waiting until later. Then again, that might cancel too.

there are no guarantees. There are some disappointments in life/business.

I have to say I think I have gotten a record number of calls for tomorrow Doesn't matter. I cannot obviously take them all. And if I don't get docs on time they will go by the wayside. The answer. Buy more lottery tickets. I cannot believe this month. As for the cancelations, it's luck of the draw unfortunately. Just like the lottery tickets. How about the woman who bought two thiis week and won on two. I won $29 once.

I had 3 today. 2 of them were on, then off, then both on again. As soon as I changed into my jeans and t to go work in the garden, they both called and were on again. Never fails. One isn't going till 9pm tonight.
