Electronic notarization too secure for title companies?

The thread on tablets below, combined with the shenanigans title companies are alleged to play both in the replacement certificate thread, and the news media, make me wonder if electronic notarization is not being adopted because it's too secure. For example, if you cut an electronic acknowledgement certificate from one document and paste it on another, both become invalid. If you change a date from 4/28/12 to 4/27/12, not only the certificate but the document it's attached to become invalid. Many proposed schemes get the time and date from a trustworthy* third party computer, so there is no practical way to fudge the time if signing.

*Unfortunately Warren Buffet seems to be the only person in the country universally recognized as trustworthy.
