Flex Closing extending payment schedule

Received my payment for a recent closing in a timely manner, but was surprised to see that the check stub contained the following: Effective 4/1/2012 standard payment terms will be net 45 days. This from a company that originally sold themselves and prided itself on paying quickly--within 20-30 days.

Although I haven't been done a lot of signings for them--they at first were reluctant to meet my fee, lowballing even what I listed in their system--this to me does not bode well for Flex. I appreciate the notice, but add to this the handholding and faxbacks they require I don't know if I will continue to take their phone calls.

I quit working with them a long time ago

Low ball fees, fax backs, etc. The last straw was when I cancelled the signing because the docs were going to be late and i had other appointments.

Re: I quit working with them a long time ago

I used to do alot of work for them as they always met my fees but I noticed that the few signings I did for them lately, it was taking longer to get a check from the "quick" paying company. I took a refi signing from them 10 days ago and they could not get the docs out to me at all for the signing appointment. Not worth the trouble with all the faxbacks and trying to get my asking fee from them every time they call.
