Need more work
Been trying to get more loan doc. signings (I know the lending world is down) but still I'm not getting as much work as I had hoped for. Can someone tell me what the going rate is for doc. signing. I know it varies but what's about average?

Julie, find the orange search button at the top of the page (when you on the first page of the forum. There is abundant info on this topic - including a somewhat relevant topic just further down today. This type of question has been asked and answered here too many times to count. You should be able to find more than you want to know.

Not sure about CA, but FL is average $100.00 with edocs for refi and lender packages. $75.00 for cash closings. Make it easy for you. You have to find the sweet spot where they use you and not over priced where your closings are too few and far between, yet you cannot go to cheap and price yourself too low. The low ballers do not like to pay you.

Luckydog: where are you located?
Remind me to stay out of your area. You do not speak for all of FL, perhaps only for SS's.

Caveat on fees
1. If you're in a-notary-on-every-corner area, good luck, think you'll need it. 2. Do NOT forget that mileage = gas + your time--include in fee. 3. If you're in a not-much-competition area, fees are higher; yes, they are! Only you know the answers and please stick to your fees. A rising tide raises all boats.
