Notary ASAP Fee?
For those of you who have worked for Notary ASAP, is $100 a normal fee for them for a signing?

I have been signed up with them for quite a while but no call yet. I only signed up with them because reviews on NotaryRotary.com were very good and all indicated getting $xxx for the assignment, which means at least $100.

COmpleted many loans for Notary ASAP with no problems. $100 is their base fee, but they are willing to pay extra if the location or timing is an issue. Love it too because many of their signings are flexible (either today, or over the weekend....just let us know when the appointment has been made).
Also, they don't micromanage and will get involved if needed to resolve an issue.

It really doesn't matter what a SS's "normal fee" is. What your acceptable fee is really the only thing that matters. At least to you anyway, right?
I'm not trying to be flippant. If the a SS is unwilling to meet the fee you charge for your services why would you accept the job for less pay than you have determined your services are worth?

Notary ASAP payment
Awhile back I complained that Notary ASAP failed to pay me. They DID pay me, but it took 2 months.

Re: Notary ASAP Fee - for a refi, yes that's the norm they
offer...for other types of loans, it varies.
I'd take all that I can get from them, though payment is about 30 days out, at least they pay!
Great company!

Depends. That amount usually works for me, but that is for signings within a certain general area, with a package of perhaps 90 to 120 pages. A larger package or extended travel would require a higher fee. I've done some for that company, and they were probably for the amount quoted to you.

We really do not have a standard fee.
What we pay varies by what our customer is willing to pay, what the notary is willing to work for, and how much it cost us to get the signing done. It's basically like any other supply and demand market. We deal with a large pool of companies and they all pay differently. Some title companies only pay $100 for a signing. In that case, we give our regulars the bulk of those signings as they work with us on their fee and in turn we keep them busy. Key is to know how and when to negotiate a fee, when to ask for more, when to take less, and how to stay under the radar but in the spotlight to keep yourself in demand.
