The problem with OldePhartz and smartphones...

Hugh..Im not nearly as old as you Yet..So smart phones problems arent just for old farts..! When I got mine last Oct..I tried so hard to figure the darn thing out..After a week..I said the heck with it and went back to my old phone..That lasted a few days..I wanted the smart phone back!

I played with it for a long time until I think I have it under control..At first I kept calling an SS and they would call me on my house phone and tell me to hang up the cell phone! Thanks Tony!

Just keep plugging away..Im no techie and if I can learn it I know you can..Just be patient!

Hard for me to learn:

Switching between callers and phone calls on a smartphone vs. old flippers, etc.

Learning to text without the old keys a-b-c, d-e-f, etc.

To turn off the screen before I put it up to my face and hit the [end] button with my cheek, thereby disconnecting the caller.

LOL Brenda

After nearly a year, I am still disconnecting with my cheek...
I still haven't learned how to switch between callers (but am looking for a tutorial-my 10 year old granddaughter couldn't help me there)
BUT, I did learn how to speak my texting.

***if I can learn it I know you can..Just be patient!***

At 75, you are patient with the pharmacist when he tries to explain why fiber is good for you, because you know the consequences if you don’t listen to him. You are patient with the podiatrist who does the Medicare pedicure for you because you know you can’t bend over that far to do it yourself. You are patient with your child when she is impatient with you because you want to be sure that there’s going to be <somebody> who feels obligated to visit you in the nursing home, because you've been surly for so long from lack of fiber you've driven everybody else off.

You are not patient with a device that humanity survived for 250,000 years without before it was inflicted on those unfortunate enough to live in this century.
