Great points, Buddy. I'll add: the value of "blue sky" is
always dependent upon the buyer to keep and build upon. If the training, and transitionary introductions to existing clients is aggressive, then the "blue sky" value has a greater chance of being realized.
One good model to look at it is the franchising concept - you buy the Brand, and make it or break it on your own.
It all boils down to planning your work and working your plan - smartly. Work being the operative word.

Everyone has a different work ethic, the harder I work, the more positive is my bottom line. I can't imagine how you "clone" yourself, I wish I could clone me. I've brought people in on this line of work, and they don't even answer their phone. That's a major flaw to being successful in this biz.
There is no magic, just takes one who rolls up their sleeves and is dedicated to strong marketing and working the biz.
I was amazed to learn that the owner of a SUBWAY franchise in Thousand Oaks, CA earned $22K a month....location, location, location, and of course, a great product.
