Turned away 3 "emergency" signings for today

Way too far away and very last minute. 1.) "Other notary cancelled". 2.) "Can you help us out?" (Yikes, that phrase.) Last call came in at 6:00 PM for a closing 2 hours away. They offered $150.00. No can do. And, it is a holiday weekend.

I would have turned it away too. They would be paying me really good to drive 2 hours on a last minute call.

Had 1 for today and two for tomorrow

Said the same, I'm away for the holiday. Must say next week shaping up much better then this week.
