Warning to Mac users .. You are under attack
I know there are more than just a few Mac users out there, so be aware.
Those good old days where your computer was not too vulnerable to attacks appears to be over. Yes some viruses were written for Macs over the years, but not too much ever took hold. The issue talked about in the link below first surfaced in 2011. It was thought that Apple got it under control, but now it's apparent it's going to become a big problem. Apple does not have the experience that Microsoft has in combating viruses because up until now, they have not been really attacked. The same rules apply for users of Macs as they do for PC's such as not opening links in emails, not answering "yes" to pop up advertisements, watch what websites you surf on and make sure your computer is backed up to another hard drive or an online backup service.

For those who want to know about an anti-virus service, this service I have used when Apple was telling us it wasn't necessary .... They have been around for about 25 years or so. I would recommend that all Mac users take a look and download their free scanner.... Now is not the time to have the "Mac Ego" thinking you are better than a PC. You are now more vulnerable to attack than Windows just because there isn't the experience and the range of products out there for Mac.
This is a good product. I suggest you take a look at it.

Don't take this lightly. I do know those geeks at the Apple store will say "You don't need to worry." That's their "Mac Ego" talking.
