real estate tax affidavit
Have to go back and have this signed correctly. I rarely get these. There are two places on the bottom. One that asks for Grantor to sign and the other for the Grantee to sign. I had them sign the wrong side. It was very late in the evening and no one to call at SS. These have always confused me when they are in a package. Any info that you can share with me so that I will complete these correctly next time? Thanks

Grantor transfer, grantee receives I think.

The easiest way to remember is: the grantor is giving and the grantee is receiving. If you are doing a quit claim where the wife is granting the deed to herself and her husband, she is the grantor and she and her husband are the grantees.

I always remember blood donORS *give* blood
so "....ors...." give
GrantORS convey the property/stuff...

Heeheehee. Unlike milkErs, because cows don't "give"
milk, someone has to go take it from them twice a day.

Re: Heeheehee. Unlike milkErs, because cows don't "give"
twice????? Better do some more research Dearie! In modern milking farms, it's 3X a day.
