we all know that GA is an attorney state only. how come when we post something, we have to be reminded of that, appreciate the concern, but tell us something that we dont know.

Re: Beware~ GA is an attorney-only state for loan signings
Well, let's see... if OP doesn't know that this is a business (OK, for some it's a business) and the question is so poorly worded that I have a hard time believing it was written by an attorney, it didn't seem illogical to think that perhaps OP didn't know that GA is an attorney-only state and I was merely trying to warn of a whole lot of trouble if OP is not an attorney. OK?

In Lee's defense, Lacy..two reasons it's mentioned
1. From the sound of the OP they're new - so this important info bears repeating...especially if they bought into the hype of making 6 figure income doing loan signings.
2. From postings here and elsewhere over time, everyone either does NOT know that GA is an attorney-only state or they ignore it - that's borne out by postings here and elsewhere, where it's obvious GA notaries are doing loan signings/closings - or are interested in doing them...so again, the info bears repeating.

I've got this one - Chandra
I believe that Chandra is a notary and that she has stumbled across a signing service site. She now has a contract to sign and wants to know if this kind of work is legit.
I did not figure this out on my own. I know people who know stuff. They can do a lot with very little. If I write down who they work for, they will have to kill me. You'll just have to trust me on the translation of this cryptic message.
