DUI Crackdown Across the Nation

I'm sure it's everywhere this weekend. DUI's are up, not down, 45 in Santa Barbara city alone in four days! I think many people are simply clinically depressed. On the flip side, I signed a $1Million cash out, these 80 year olds are investing in REOs and making the most of good buys out there. Two investment properties this morning at 8 for two other recently retired people in the next town, and five more refi's in Santa Barbara today, so far.

At 5pm, I quit answering my phone, especially from the low ballers. I turned away a couple of my best title companies also for last night, just not enough hours to be everywhere at once.

Be safe out there. I wish I weren't out there on the roads today, due to holiday frenzy, and it's raining pretty good already, but it's almost over, then a day of rest, Christmas Eve day I'll be pounded, then Christmas Day can sleep in. Wednesday through Friday will be nuts. 26th is the last day to sign to close by year end.

Good grief, Charlie Brown! (signed Schultz's son twice this month!)

MAKE IT A SAFE DAY! God's blessings to all this Glorious Holiday Season. Celebrate Jesus' Birthday! I'm just happy my sister's 6# tumor removed last month was benign and that my brother's heart is strong after quadruple surgery last year, and that my 86 year old mother is still trucking in her walker for yet one more year (mind is slipping a little, however!).

I have two signings today from Quicken so it'll be short and sweet then I can climb back in bed with some hot chocolate. Have a great Holiday.

I had two Quicken signings today too, in my town. Thought they would be short and sweet. First one was - second one, Mrs. Borrower was 40 minutes late to appointment because she ran errands that morning and got caught in the I-95 southbound holiday traffic. I was NOT HAPPY. But it's over now and my holiday weekend has started - no jobs on Monday so I am off thru Wednesday - YAY!

Shame on you for breaking confidentiality of a signer.

I thought you knew better than that.

Sorry Shoshana but I don't see any prob with the post

No confidentiality has been broken as he has not given specific details re customers identity location or personal info. Sorry don't really see what problem you have with it.

Oops sorry I see what you are referring to now. Agree

Name specifics should be omitted from posts.

Agree, too...

Unless, like she has said before, she has permission and agreement from the borrowers to publish.

Re: Agree, too...

That's probably highly unlikely! You mean she has actually asked signers if she can publish their names on FB? I guess I missed that post!

Re: Shame on you for breaking confidentiality of a signer.

I'm guessing here but knowing Cheryl she meant it this way:

Schultz is "considered" the father of Charlie Brown (you know...the cartoon) and she's probably speculating on how many zillions of "Charles Browns" there are in the country. I think this whole thing is blown completely out.....JMHO

I think your response is really far fetched.

Have you been in to the eggnog already? How well do you know Cheryl? You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Before I duck out of this...

Yes, that is what LS101 said (permission granted by borrowers) in another post; she has something in the works and alluded to that. Unlike Sue, I assumed that she was being serious about the name.

[I realize the eggnog remark is not directed at me and that it is directed at Sue. I am just tacking on here. Is there eggnog? I would be glad to have a little eggnog--extra rum!]

Re: Before I duck out of this...

Yes, Brenda, it was directed towards Sue. However, you're welcome to come up here for some eggnog with extra rum (OMG, my trainer would kill me!) Do you have some free time?

Re: Before I duck out of this...

I want to have free time...I work a lot so I can afford all these things, but then no time to do them!

I have had an invitation to Chicago today from a non-notary friend who has invited me up to spend time...now, a trip to AZ--ah, I wish I could go more places.

As an aside, I have always wondered why notaries did not set up a vacation house swap or vacation exchange.

There are many children...which one's privacy do you think I compromised?

You must be having another bad day. You just might have too much time on your hands! Seems like you're waiting to jump on people's #$%& too readily.

You have yourself a nice day!
