Need to Feedback on this.
160 pages x's 2 no fax backs $90.00 I have been closing for many years now. The very least this should be is $125.00 and doing a favor. Signing Agency says that is a normal size package. A normal size package to me is 80 to 120 pages.

Re: You're absolutely right, LindaD/NJ.
Bottom line, ALL of them are getting cheaper on their prices for some reason. 2 of my companies went from $100.00 down to $95.00. Been getting calls e docs 2 packages faxbacks for $85.00 and will not do, when my simple cash closings are $75.00. Too many of us accepting that wage and if you do not take the $5.00 cut, some one right behind you who will, and risk getting no work at all in the future. If you are a two income family, no problem, but unfortunately it seems they are all screwing us at the end, either in price, package size, faxbacks. Sometimes I just take the bad with the good and you have to deal with it. It is not right and not fair, but it a personal choice what you end up saying and doing in the end.

Very simply, you're accommodating lender, LO and Title/Escrow so that this file can get back in line with lender for final review. Everyone wants to close before end of month. You should definitely get paid for scope of work.

Most loan pkgs I see are about 87 pages.
With gusts up to 130 pages. Your client is way off base.
Did you by any chance check to see if they'd included the borrower's copy in the digital file? I had one do that to me once.. I was printing and printing and printing and the gal at the TC had scanned the docs twice thinking it would make work easier for me.
That provided me a chuckle (and wasted 180 pages...)

Thank you for all your responses
SA was trying to convince me this was a normal size pkg. No. I felt REALLY bad about giving it back. NEVER do that. but they did this to me last time and said would make it up on the next one. Don't really hear from them that often. And I am sure they will find someone, yikes.

funny thing... not two minutes after I posted this,
I got a GIANT file... sure enough... she scanned borrower's copies to me again. 200 pages... but I just need to print once.
WHY, WHY, WHY would they do that?

Re: funny thing... not two minutes after I posted this,
I used to have one that sent me two attachments, same thing in each one, because they needed a copy for the borrower LOL
Haven't seen it in a while, but I've been between 109 and 160 pages with the average around 130 --- need to raise my fees just to cover the paper!

Citibank scans two sets in their email deliveries
and their packages are typically about 180 for the two sets, which includes two mortgages in the signing package. BOA typically 120 pgs (one set) and Chase about 90 pgs (one set). It all depends on the lender and what they are sending over. I've been printing the borrower's copy package double-sided for about the last year now. Haven't had any complaints. Now that most of the loans are HARP and don't need appraisals, I'm saving even more paper!

I don't know what's up, but more cos. are offering $90.
I'm not taking those, and charge an extra $15-$20 for any pkg. over 140 pgs.
