No docs

Is anyone else having trouble today with getting docs and/or being able to contact LSI? It is almost 3pm here and the docs I needed for my 11 am today never came and I can't get a hold of anyone. I have called all the the #'s on my confirmation and have been put on hold for 10+ min. each time. I finally left a vm and that was over an hour ago.

LSI is notorious for not letting you know the loan has cancelled or rescheduled.

So I found out the hard way about QSL. If a notary makes a mistake the signing compay pentlies you for the mistake. What responsiblities does the signing companies have to the notaries? They make good money on our labor. I guess we are just out of luck.

Not just LSI. I think I am going to start telling every closing that if I do not have the docs 2 hrs prior to closing time that I will cancel.

What did you confirmation agreement say about "full pay" if the loan is cancelled or a no sign? If your agreement said you are to be paid regardless of the signing funding, consider taking the company to small claims court.

Well it is now after 4pm. Not a word from title or lender. This is the first time I have NEVER heard back from either one. I called borrower as a courtesy over an hour ago to give them a heads up.

UNREAL

a loan processor leaves me a vm to confirm i got docs. tc calls me a few minutes ago and wants to know why i didn't show up at the closing. she said she shows she sent the docs at 3:09pm (THE CLOSING WAS SCHEDULED FOR 3PM). i have never not shown up at a closing and i have been receiving email all day but not those docs. we triple confirmed my addy. then she says if i send them now can you go, NO. i hate to go there but i do not believe she sent them at 3:09pm. she said did you talk to the bo, i said yes to tell her i had nothing and no one contacted me and that i wouldn't be coming OUT OF COURTESY. this game is getting dirty. she was pissy with me and said now she had to find someone else.

Re: UNREAL

docs came thru at 4:33pm, so who didn't show up. properties show they were not sent until 4:27pm. but clearer heads at tc prevailed and we are closing on tues.

Re: BO pe'od, took day off from work, closing scheduled week ago

wow! I could have written the exact scenario last month! is it a Chase? I have now said that if it is a Chase loan at one of the branches and the docs are late, I will not go. The bank officer is angry, the borrowers are angry and I am the only human they see to complain to. If you do get through on the phone, they either sent them a while ago and you must be missing them (I do dozens of them, and hello, they all come through), or they are sending them in a few minutes, which turns into half hour after the closing. Chase blames LSI, they blame Chase. GMAC is usually last minute too. Exhausting....

twil4/WI,

yup, let the finger pointing begin. Been there, done that.

Truth be told it's probably both of them (lender and title).

And, what really flattens my tire..is that neither of them calls the borrower or notary...they

just let you sit and stew.

Geez, if they had to mow an acre of grass, they'd cut it with a scissors instead of a riding

lawnmower.
