Notary On Call

I performed a signing for Notary On Call on 11/14/2012. I received the call from Angela who agreed to my fee. I received the documents in a timely manner. However, it turned out to be a 160 page document package. Had I known that in advance I would have increased me fee a bit. But I did perform the signing at the agreed fee and received payment from NOC within 4 weeks which I feel is acceptable.
I will be happy to work for NOC again in the future.

I haven't worked with Notary on call, but I wanted to point out to others, that it doesn't hurt to ask for an increase fee, when the package turns out to be extra big. I have been pretty lucky in getting an increase in fee when that happens. Of course, the reliance on this, this varies, not all companies will go for it, but the ones I work with, for the most part, will do an increase. Never hurts to ask.

I consider a package of 160 pages to be average (for signature set only). My fee includes printing the 2nd set for borrower, however, I will ask for an increase if faxbacks are required and/or there is extra mileage out of my 15 mile radius. I have worked with NOC and Amanda is nice to work with, however, the packages come in 7 separate emails which are cumbersome and time consuming to print out (in duplicate). Appointments have been within 2 hrs of signing, which can be an issue if I have other appointments before/after due to the printing of docs. They have met my fee however.

Christine - sorry our emails come over in 7 separate ones, but as you know I get docs in pieces so I send them as I get them so you can at least start printing instead of waiting until all have arrived. also as usual this industry everything is last minute. Normally its 3 to 4 emails once you have worked with us confirmation, ship label, and docs. The 1st signing I have to send you more due to the fact I need info from you as a notary. It was a pleasure working with you!
Angela,
