Sign of the season

Had a signing last night that could have been a hassle but actually turned out nice. Got the assignment, SS said docs were ready, turns out they weren't. Called BO to tell her that I would be delayed, would this cause a problem. She said, well we were going to go caroling in the neighborhood, but I will have my husband drop off our son at one of the neighbor's house. Ok, I say, I will let you know when I am on my way. Great, she says. Long story short, got to BO's house, husband is on his way back from dropping 4 year-old off. They thank me over and over for MY paitience in getting the docs. Half way through the closing, door bell rings, it is the carolers to sing to us: 5 little 4 year-olds and some parents, very sweet interuption. finished up and BOs still thanking me for my patience.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just felt like sharing something positive with everyone for this busy, holiday season. wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.

That is nice. Most places down here south FL would think that strange or risk getting a gun in the face ringing a doorbell at night. lol

That was a blessed interruption.

============

Yesterday, on my way (on highway eastbound 80) home from signing, it was stop and go traffic at about 5 pm. Looking around and what do I see??? In the lane next to me ... in a convertible red Corvette, with the top down, there goes Santa Claus (driving) and next to him and waving to everyone is Rudolph! Temp was about 40, but that sight warmed everyone up!

Sometimes it's nice to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Merry Christmas everyone!
