Turning reality inside-out

Got an "evaluation" today from a fairly large title company. It judged my performance on a closing by four measures. The last of those measures was whether I was closing for $75. The more you charge above $75, the lower your quality rating.

As a general rule, in our industry and in commerce in general, there is a loose correlation between price and quality. That correlation is NOT the lower the price, the higher the quality. Gotta hand it to this title company, though: It's a novel way to promote lowballing.

I did not score very well.

What nerve! They are clearly berating (bad pun, but very

correct) people into accepting low fees. I give that co. a failing grade! and hope you rated them in SC accordingly.

I kicked them out of my life years ago! They still call me. Pretty soon, they'll have no one to call on in my area.
