Yup... and *that's* my objection to the software... despite what some people might think. I realize some people might find it useful, but I really find it disgusting that this company asks notaries to buy software that THEY developed in order for notaries to work for them. And yet, they go to pretty great lengths to conceal the fact that it's their software, but it's not difficult to figure out.

Pat, my question is whether or not they provide you with a great deal of work or not. If NOT, I would tell them that is the reason you won't be buying into their software.
If they DO provide you with the majority of your work, I personally would have to consider buying it. I will go to great lengths to keep my favorite SS's happy.
As always, JMO.

I didn't buy their software and I am still doing the signing. Too much pressure though

Am I truly understanding what you said?
Flex sends you a mixed-size multi-page document, then wants you to buy the(ir) program that will separate one combined-size pdf document into 2 separate piles (1 letter/1 legal)? But wait! I know that this program will also give you a list of how these size-separated piles should be reassembled in order.
So now wondering how they 'want' them returned--separated by size or combined in order?
Also commenting that there are a few companies that will send the docs (or link to website) in two ways--separated by size AND combined-in-order and let you pick what works for you. Nor do these companies want the by-size piles reassembled in order. Which begs the question, if Flex has a program that separates by size---why don't they just do what other companies do and send 'em both ways??? Hmmmm? That was a rhetorical question.

Re: Am I truly understanding what you said?
It is very easy to seperate the Legal from the letter size docs in a package. But, if you are not sure of how, Get a printer that does the auto switch such as a Xerox. I have the Model # 3325 which cost new 399, about the price a good HP costs. & the toner lasts about 11,000 copies. The printer does the auto switch & never a problem. Walter
