Cost of Background Check on Notary Rotary

If you are a premier member do you get a discount on Notary Rotary. If so how do you get it. When I go to check to out it is charging me the $39 I though I read somewhere it cost $19 for members, but I could be wrong.

I remember reading that also. It was either an e-mail or Harry posted it on the forum, but he made quite a few changes and the discount on the background check was just one of the changes. I've made a quick check and haven't found the note/posting. Maybe someone else will remember what/where it is.

The email that he sent gave directions on how to get the discount, unfortunately I deleted it and can not remember all of the specifics.

I found the e-mail. It's dated Feb. 10, 2012. Here is the section on background checks for premier members. (Another good reason to join NR).

"Membership Benefit Changes
$20 Background Check Discount
Effective March 1, Premier Members will receive a $20 discount on Notary Public Background Checks through www.notarypublicbackgroundcheck.com. The current price of a background check for most notaries is $39. This Premier discount will bring the cost for these notaries down to $19. Providing that you input your Notary Rotary user name on the NPBC web site, the NPBC indicator will display on your Notary Rotary listing, which should help generate more business. Please note that if your discount is not applied on the NPBC web site when you purchase the background check, you may contact us to receive a $20 refund."
