How to price your services

Appropo to absolutely nothing except I found this article a few hours ago this morning and feel that it is excellent. Granted, pricing is not an easy task and must be updated as things change (gas goes way up!), but this explains a lot and gives you things to think about in order to be successful. In my experience, pricing is not a 'once and done' chore, but something that you should look at as things change and correct as needed. Not a daily thing either. Hope it's a clickable link. If not, it's worth the cut & paste.

Thank you Lee. There's also a link at the bottom of the article on Reverse Auctions which looks interesting.

Re: How to price your services; thanks for the link

Lee, that was very useful even for an old guy like me who has been in business forever.
In our odd little business of GNW and NSA work, we are stuck with lowballers on one hand and competitors who don't know the value of their work and undercut us all.
Another factor is that some of us do this work part-time and look for less "net-net" than those who have no other job/income.
Thanks again for the link.

And even though it was written in 2009, it still holds true. Seems the end/beginning of every year brings this type of article to everyone's attention.
