I'm Jealous of Alex's blog
Every couple of weeks I flip over to Alex's blog just to see what he has on his radar. At least once a year I share it with NR.
Today, I caught up on -BBB Top Scams -Housing Crisis End? -5 Steps for Improving Your Online Social Media Reputation
The reason that this belongs in "Discuss Work" is because a blog like Alex's will help build content for a notary's website. Content makes Google love a site. It also reports blurbs on the topics that we are interested in. I think of it like the Kiplinger Letter for notaries...except without the pricey membership subscription fee.
His blog is a perfect example of what a notary's blog should be. I am so jealous if it. I have never been able to be that consistent with a blog and I will never be the writer that he is.
Out of an abundance of caution not be be advertising a good friend's website, I will just say that if you want to find it, it is there. Google >detroit notary< and you'll find his site. Select the blog link. Read cool stuff that you did not know you needed to know.

I agree, Brenda. He obviously is on top of his blog and has GREAT information on his blog. A perfect GO-TO place for anyone who wants to read the latest and greatest about what impacts our business and our financial lives.
Love the scam reports. Way to go, Alex!

Brenda, Thanks for the heads up on Alex's blog. I have spent the past hour looking over it and have bookmarked for return regularly. His diligence and contributions are indeed a bonus for all signing agents.

I've looked at it as well and I'm very impressed. A few critiques that I think will improve the site include: a) Centering the content, the blog is centered but not the other pages b) Providing a background behind the content that will frame the content and c) Contrasting the content holder with the background design that is to be applied d) Using larger fonts for the content
Each page of the website is packed with info and could be broken up to create a longer page or additional pages. I think Alex may have been thinking to use a smaller font size to keep all of that info within one screen view.
But megaton of resources, links, and good info that would make anyone envious. Nice job Alex!

Re: I'm Jealous of Alex. <-- period
He's taller than me, younger than me, AND he can write.
You put Alex at the helm of ANY kind of enterprise, and I'd feel sorry for the competition.
