I saw 2.785% tonight.

He said he told the loan officer that their competitor offered him a lower rate, even though he didn't even talk to the competitor. (In other words: he lied.) They didn't want to lose his business, so they lowered their rate.

That's the only time I have seen it lower than 3%.

Wow. I just had to tell somebody.

Lowest I have seen and it was a fixed rate.

I had one of those too but the guy had paid points to get down to that rate.

3.875% on a 30 year fixed rate......

....saw two of those in the past two days. Never thought it would go that low. Are we in a refi boom?
