I've been slammed with work...does..

Does anyone know why the sudden onslaught of loan signings? I understand the next few months will be busy as well. I am curious as to why.

Thank you, for any and all responses!

Susan

You will have to investigate in your local area as to what is going on. Whether someone is busy or not, is highly geographical especially here in the formerly Golden State. Just a few miles can make a big difference. Plus many notaries that are still listed in this and some other sites are just not answering the phone. Since you are, you are busy.

So glad to hear. Dad signed a split for my sister's refi

yesterday.

The Mobile Notary was splendid, and it's such a good feeling to know my long time neighbors are again getting quality service. It's great to be able to refer a qualified professional.

Refi was a two-month start-to-funding process; 3.375%/15 with 3.6152 APR; easy peasy, even with the weird WA Property in Trust issues [.

Some lenders are getting smart, as are some borrowers - hence, the Need for Pros, Grows.

Re: I've been slammed with work...does.. HARP Legislation?

Some of the busy-ness may be created by the implementation of the HARP legislation which enables more homeowners to refinance. It has been discussed on here at some length.

I believe that's a big factor. I also understand that the HARP program prevents the lender from assigning the mtg to another party.

Re: I've been slammed with work...does.. HARP Legislation?

I have been doing a number of these for only one lender for over a year. And they are lender instituted. What I mean is that that a borrow could/did not request the refi. The bank contacted the borrower and offered the no cost lower rate refi to the borrower. Love doing them.

Yes, and small packages too.
