Ah. True, I'm not your mommy to remind you of your

manners. However, I am a retired businesswoman and long-time NR community member who thinks your posts lack the most basic understandings of the professional world here in NotaryLand.

Best of luck to you.

I don't understand either, Susan.

I no longer practice law. Does that mean I do not have valid perspectives on legal issues?

I'm no longer an active journalist. I can't comment on the news?

I no longer teach college. I should have no views on higher education?

I'm no longer a teenager. I can't believe some parents suck?

I'm no longer married. I can't bemoan lost freedoms?

I do, however, remain divorced, so I guess I can comment on the convenience of permanently raised toilet lids and the importance of the microwave in contemporary society.

And on freedoms regained.

And what does that have to do with anything? I do not recall giving any notarial advice nor do I recall this forum being open only to notaries. If it is, then Harry can cancel my ID.

By the way, your uncanny sleuthing skills are in error. I have NEVER been a notary, so my commission could not have expired. You have me confused with someone else with the same name. Thanks for trying.

Re: I smell a Rat with the three of you

Feel free to embarrass yourself further by explaining what guideline or rule I have violated. I am sure that I will be appropriately disciplined.

My name is James Powell, but I have never been a notary in Wayne County, Michigan. I have also been reported as killed in Detroit. According to White Pages online, there are 113 people named "James Powell" in Michigan. See if you can figure out which one I am.
