Make yourself some copies of Signing Central
and keep one in your house and another in your vehicle. It sure does come in handy while you are talking to a caller and can't get to a computer to make a decision. Mine printed out on 16 legal size pages. A quick glance shows you how many stars. I only work for 4 star and above.

Put on your phone.
Good information to have when out of the office which seems to be most of the time everyday lately. I have copied and pasted S/C into a word doc, saved as a PDF document, and sent to my smart phone. Comes in handy.

I'm Hugh's first cousin when it comes to tech stuff
I still have a simple flip phone. So how do you talk and pull up the info at the same time. I would rather just grab the papers and bingo!

Re: I'm Hugh's second cousin then -
I still have a flip phone, too! Upgrading to a smart phone shortly. Learning tech stuff on my own. Thanks for all the valuable info here.

yup, I have the entire SC company list on my smartphone..
in case I can't look up a company on a computer...sometimes though, when they call from a cell phone, I'm thrown off, but once I get the company name, I can still stay on the line with them, while checking my contacts...love it!
And yes, great idea Larry!

If you shrink it down, you can reduce it to 8-9 pages. Still a good idea to print it out and keep it with you.

I can scroll through the doc on my phone quicker then.......
it takes to log into N/R and scroll through S/C . There also might be dead spots where you can't log in.

To avoid having to stop and pull out the paperwork, or look at the phone too much while driving, I just accept the assignment and tell the scheduler that I will view NotRot's SC comments when I return to my office. If the comments are not good, the scheduler will soon receive a call/email from me, specifying that I'm now declining the assignment due to previous comments made by NPs who were not satisfied with the signing service's actions.
