My First RESPA Signing

Okay yall know I am a rookie, but I have a couple of questions, first even though this is a refi, don't I still have to provide a Right to Cancel & a Patriots Acts for Signing & why is there only one document that needs to be notarized I E Occupancy Agreement? Please help. I have gone over all of the docs & sticky taped all the places where dates & signatures are requried I wanna get this one right. the First time. Smile

If this is an Application (honestly don't know how Apps got the name 'RESPA signing'), as it's not the final loan, there would be no Right to Cancel at this point.

Hope you charged enough for this. My experience has been that they take longer than the final loan. I personally don't do them anymore. They are a pita.

If this is an investment property, there is no RTC..also, the Deed always gets notarized...any others depend upon the lender and title company.

If this is a RESPA signing there is no mortgage. n/m
