Receiving Loan Doc's
Thank you to LMS and sealed/CA for your information and I followed the instructions you gave me and the printer is still not distinguishing between letter and legal size. I have called Brother's several times and have been told that my software (Adobe) has to be configured to overide the printer. I don't have a clue how to do that. Any advice? Thanks!

I have been through this. Make sure that you have checked the box that says "Choose paper source by PDF page size" near the bottom on the left of the print menu. If it is not checked, it will not work and sometimes it magically becomes unchecked.

If it is an adobe problem then perhaps you could just upgrade the Adobe software. It's free so it couldn't hurt. I use Adobe 9 version 9.4.5 It works perfectly.

There's also another area in your settings
in "preferences" I believe...where you have to make sure it's set to "automatic"..
With mine, the settings were in 3 different places on the computer and if all 3 were not set properly it wouldn't work.

Re: There's also another area in your settings
If you haven't already, you also have to add the 2nd tray and say if it is letter or legal and then say whether first tray is letter or legal before it will pull from the right tray. It somewhere within the print settings.
