"Can you help me out"
Always a lowballer, no pay, or 2 star company that starts off a conversation like this. Got two of them that left messages on my voicemail on friday. One kept calling me every 10 mins till I picked up and turned them down.
Im willing to help out if they are willing to pay my AMEX bill.

Lately I have had to ask companies to repeat their name
as they are talking so fast or so mushy-mouthed that I can't understand what they are saying. One guy I had to ask him four times!

Or they're calling on a cell phone that keeps cutting out
so you only get half the conversation, name or company name..
I hate that.

Re: Lately I have had to ask companies to repeat their name
Glad I'm not the only one! It's gotten to where I tell them to slow down and sometimes even spell it for me. Sure does get the red flags flying. I realize they're in a hurry to set these things up at EOM, but you'd think they'd figure out that it will take them longer in the end if they don't communicate clearly. OR maybe they've figured out that if they call enough people, they'll catch someone who won't think fast enough to ask the right questions. But then I may be giving too much credit to some of them...

Re: If THEY are not proud of the company name, Do I want
to work with them? FIRST red flag as someone said.
