Today at 3:00pm, its supposed to reach 103 - heat index of 105-115...UGH!

You know, you are correct. That must be why I have

been a bit warm the last few days.
My poor lawn is about to go into cardiac arrest. We had a bit of rain yesterday, but need a lot more.
This happened in 1995 and there were hundreds of deaths. Mostly elderly people afrad to open their windows for fear of crime.
Since then the City of Chicago had instituted proceedures to check on the elderly .
Stay cool and HYDRATE

you will pray for no humidity and no bugs and no lightening when you are away from your home that will kill your appliances, etc. Whole nuther set of problems. But - you're young and resilient....

Normal weather for the Central Valley this time of year. Next 10 days, temp is suppose to be 100-107. I hate it.

Spoke to a borrower last week who said he chose his area carefully. Out of the way of hurricanes, flooding, whatever, etc. He said he did not think to ask about tornados. It seems his areas is susceptible to tornados. I guess if you want the perfect location you have to go to Heaven. In time, in time.

Of course I could if, IF, I wanted to work there. I love this area, all of Florida, but I am aware of its shortcomings.

But, conversely, being optimistic, I can always find the cream and separate it out. Today is gorgeous so far - hoping no lightening this evening as I am leading a full moon paddle on Winter Park chain of lakes. It will be divine! I am doing my rain, rain, stay away dance all day.....and of course having fun with you.

Did Someone Say Minnesota?

At 6:00 p.m. CDT it is 102 degrees and not sure what the heat index is but they were saying 110-115. It's hot out there. Luckily my closings were three morning ones and I was home by 11:00 a.m. I've been inside all the rest of the day.

Much of the county is seeing 100+ temps. It was 102

here yesterday & about the same today. I'm soooooo grateful for a/c. Last I heard there should be a break by the beginning of next week.
