What laserjet duel tray printer for loan docs

I need a black and white laserjet printer for loan docs. It needs to auto feed letter or legal paper any suggestions?

Gloria, please look for the "Search" button above, and type in "printer". You'll find all kinds of info from people who have many different preferred brands of equipment.

For me, I search the sales ads and research what's available in my area when I need a piece of new equipment. For signing work, you want to consider the speed of printing as well as the number of trays for different size paper.

Good luck on your quest.

Contact Rob at www.smalldog.com he can sell you one of the two printers I personally researched and approved for use by notaries in my network. Canon or Brother brand, both economical and efficient dual tray lovers of paper.

You can buy refurbished HP Laserjet 4200 to 4350 tn printers on EBay & other places. These print over 40 ppm. These are heavy duty, high speed printers, for less than $400 depending on the model. (the older the cheaper)

When considering a printer you should also consider the cost of toner, and replacement drums with some manufactures (not HP). You can get good compatible toners for HP at very reasonable cost from many suppliers.

I have a LJ 4250 dual tray bought new still running. A

real workhorse. I see them on ebay. Refurbished. Mine is about to need maintenance and debating whether to purchase a reburb or buy maintenance kit. (lazy and buy refurb.) Anyhow it is fast and reliable. As for toner. More expensive but in the long run it lasts for months... higher volume.. I used to have a 1360??? I think it was dual tray and it was slower and I was forever changing the toner....

I've done a ton of research so if you do decide to go this way PM me and I will let you know what I found and maybe it can save you some time. If not good luck with whatever you decide.
