As the world turns
Heard today from a reliable source that JP Morgan Chase has a deal with LSI to do all their loan signings. Yikes!

I've been doing Chase signings from LSI for quite a while.
They have been doing a push to close more of these in a bank setting versus borrower homes.

First American also has a team handling Chase loans. They even have a brochure of procedures and Chase supplied folders that are sent to notaries for customer copies.

I don't think any lender gives ALL their biz to just one tc (can we say "monopoly" and "anti-trust")

Yes, it is true and the notaries will suffer for it. You need to be really careful what you say to the Chase Team at LSI because they are so easily offended. They did me really dirty and when I complained and said I thought someone owed me an apology, I was told that I had "attitude" and they had the right to say or do anything they wanted because I was "just a notary" and they had plenty of notaries. They suspended me, even after I sent a written apology for the comment and I have to reapply in 3 months to be reinstated. Good luck with that!!! Chase didn't even issue the documents to LSI until well after the signing time was gone and the borrowers had left for a vacation. And guess who was blamed??? LSI used to be the best to work for but in recent months/years they have changed their attitude about notaries. We have no value to them and are easily (and quickly) replaced if they perceive any kind of criticism, earned or not. And the Chase Team is one of the worst for attitude and arrogance!
