Can I notarize my own document
I have a document that needs to be notarized and I wanted to know if I am allowed to notarize it for myself?

Not sure what state you are in..But in Ohio you are not allowed to notarize for yourself..Im pretty sure its like that in most states..
If you do not know this..I would put the stamp away until you have studied your states laws until you know the correct procedures!

Of course not! The answer is in your state manual. n/m

Have you even read your state requirements??? That really is the most stupid question I have seen on this forum in the last 5 years. God help anyone you notarize for.

LOL Harsh but true. Can you do a signing for 25 bucks? two copies, faxbacks, and 45 miles each way?

Annette: please learn the rules for that which you have
been commissioned to perform for your state and its citizens.
If the responses sound harsh, they should be.

Sure does. Just curious how the class and test was ever passed. Every notary should know that.
