Crazy Monkey Notary Service
I think someone is out there collecting SS numbers. Anyone get a request for a W9 to make payment on an invoice? I did and never did any work for this company. Also can't find anything in SC.

Get an EIN. Never use your SS# for IC work.

Sometimes the companies we work with have a parent company that we're unaware of. If there was a phone number included with the request, did you call them? And, by all means, as the others have said, get an EIN number by going to IRS.gov and filling out the online form.

company name alone should tell u how serious they are...
this is a no brainer...if you haven't worked form them, ever, don't bother with them. If you have EIN, give them that, NOT your SS#...HUGE NO-NO...
