DMN Business Solutions

Did a closing for her a few months ago, after trying for 4 months to get a payment, I Finally received a check, and on Friday I received a notification from my bank that their check bounced!!!! I will pursue legal action If They do not pay.

I remember when I accepted this call, they screened me, asking me all of kinds of questions regarding my experience, etc. We should start asking these companies the same questions are self!

Companies who not pay their notaries should be out of business!

Notaries BEWARE!

Sorry you're having trouble collecting your money. SC ratings are 2 stars and actual reviews are, for the most part, terribly poor.

We should all make it common practice to check with SC prior to accepting assignments from ANY company new to us ... or that we haven't worked with for a while. Better safe than sorry.

the first question I ask of callers is: What is your rating on notary rotary?

You are right. They should be out of business and eventually they are.
I just through away an invoice from December 2010 for a closing I did. Printed docs, etc.
Having that invoice on my desk for over a year just caused me aggravation.
There really is no recourse. Taking legal action will only cause you time and money.

"Taking legal action will only cause you time and money"

It's one thing to warn everyone, and another to take action.
I am familiar with the time involved in filing the legal paperwork, and the expense involved.

Perhaps a course of action that won't cost you anything is to get together with as many SA's that have been cheated and write to the District Attorneys office in the county of said deadbeat co. A legal judgement carries more weight IMHO, but perhaps numerous letters will help.

These deadbeats will continue to cheat as many people as possible every chance they get with the mindset that It will cost you time and money to go after them, and you won't bother. This is why these thieves can continue to operate every day, because in a sense, you are letting them.

Trying to collect from a deadbeat is one thing, but a

bounced check is another. You should be able to collect on that. Good luck.

Agree w/ docs. Contact the county prosecutor or district attorney's office where the signing service is located. They can make them make good on that check w/ interest. Writing a bad check is illegal.

I believe in the State of TX, there is no charge to file for someone who wrote a hot check, all I have to do is turn it in Wink So Thats what Ill do, I gave them until the end of today, to pay via by paypal, if not.. First thing tomorrow I will be filing.

Thanks for your replys!
Dana
