Freedom Mortgage closings

I always seem to experience some sort of screwy circumstances with these closings. Does this happen to anyone else with this lender? I cringe when I see the package is from Freedom Mortgage.

This lender always requires two forms of ID and it's necessary to sign the signature affidavit exactly as it shows on the drivers license and or passport (or any id).

A few more steps are needed with this lender. What specific requirements are you referring to?

Yes they have extra instructions and I often have to fiddle with the print settings to get their docs to print properly. But it seems every time there is some issue at the closing - either nit picky borrowers, or questions after hours and you cannot get a hold of anyone to assist, etc. Seems like it's always something screwy every time that makes the closing run long.

Re: Freedom Mortgage Does not PAY

Realize don't do ANYTHING Extra for Mortgage company - I did and after 6 months STILL NO PAYMENT. I was told to send invoice to Mortgage Co for processing - guess who is not paying !
