GA Loan Security Deed

I am closing a loan tomorrow at 8 am for a GA investment property.

The Security Deed has 9 pages - the borrowers and 2 witnesses sign the 9th page, but there is no notary acknowledgement. I have closed GA loans before and don't recall such a document.

Is the notary acknowledgement missing, or is one not necessary?

I answered my own question

I looked online for a GA Security Deed form and found that while an onoffical witness and the notary witnesses, there is no notary ack. I have never seen such a document before.

My info is that now not only must a GA Attorney “supervise” the closing, but also do the disbursements out of their account….You may want to check with Title on this.
