I can either jump through hoops or I can do your signing now
Just got a call (5 pm) from someone who wants a signing done tonight. I advised I was available at 7 pm and my fee, which they accepted.
Asked me a bit about my experience (fine), asked if I had a background check (I do), advised there were some faxbacks (OK), then stated that I would need to complete and return their contractor agreement before they could send the docs.
I have an hour of drive time to the signing location from where I am now.
I had to decline.
I have no problems with companies asking for information, but not if you're asking the plumber to come over and fix the flood in your bathroom NOW.
